When your mind doesn’t stop, your body feels restless, or you’re caught in loops of overthinking — it can feel exhausting just to get through the day. Anxiety often stems from a deeper place of unmet safety or unresolved pressure. Together, we create space for you to feel what’s underneath the worry and help your nervous system settle, so you can feel more present, capable, and calm.

Generational, Childhood, Relational Trauma

Old wounds don’t stay in the past — they echo into how we relate, cope, and live. Whether your trauma was overt or subtle (like emotional neglect, criticism, or lack of safety), it matters. Using relational and somatic approaches, we tend to the parts of you that had to adapt, protect, or numb.     Modalities I Work With

    This is not a one-size-fits-all space. I draw from a range of approaches to meet you where you are — mentally, emotionally, somatically, spiritually, and relationally. Although I draw from a wide array of approaches from a multitude of studies and practise, here are a few:

    Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — A depth-oriented approach that helps you connect with, process, and make sense of your emotions — especially as they relate to attachment and core needs.

    Internal Family Systems (IFS) — A powerful, non-pathologizing model that helps you relate to your inner “parts” (like the inner critic, protector, or child) with more understanding and self-leadership.

    Somatic Experiencing — Body-based tools and nervous system support to help you come out of freeze, anxiety, or dysregulation and back into grounded presence.

    CBT/Narrative Therapy — Exploring the unconscious stories you tell yourself and reshaping them into something more empowering, integrated, and true to who you are.

    Mindfulness & Self-Compassion — Tools to cultivate presence, kindness, and space within yourself — even amidst difficulty.

Therapy vs. Counselling vs. Coaching: What’s the Difference?

These terms often overlap — but they each carry a slightly different focus.

  • Therapy tends to explore deeper emotional patterns, trauma, or long-standing wounds. It often involves inner reprocessing, nervous system work, and long-term integration.

  • Counselling is typically more regular self-care, issue-focused, and practical, helping you navigate specific life challenges like grief, decision-making, or transitions.

  • Coaching is forward-focused, emphasizing goals, clarity, and self-leadership, often with tools for behavior change, communication, or intentional living.

How I Integrate All Three

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed.
I weave together therapy, counselling, and coaching depending on what’s alive as wee navigate your journey. Sometimes we go deep into emotional processing. Other times, we use coaching tools to move forward with more purpose or clarity.

Your story leads the way — and I adapt accordingly, always grounded in curiosity, consent, and compassionate witnessing. Ultimately I offer a human-centred approach because I believe that you are the most wise when it comes to your own experience. I am just here to support you with what ever your goals may be, whether that is resolving past pains, preparing for the future, or processing a present circumstance. I am here in of support of you!

Somatic Energy Work & Body-Based Healing

In addition to talk therapy, I offer somatic energy work and intuitive bodywork as part of a holistic approach to healing. Sometimes what words can’t reach, the body can gently release. Using grounded, trauma-informed practices, we work directly with the nervous system, subtle energy, and physical body to support emotional release, reconnection, and deep integration.

This work may include:

  • Gentle hands-on support (with consent)

  • Energetic clearing and balancing

  • Breath and body awareness

  • Guided somatic tracking and movement

  • Chakra and energy system support

It’s especially supportive for those who feel disconnected from the body, experience stored trauma, or want to complement talk-based therapy with direct embodied experience. Sessions are always attuned to your comfort, consent, and unique needs.
